THE CARNEVAL
The Carnival of Tenerife is very famous and often compared to the most famous of Rio de Janeiro.
Parades, concerts, festivals and celebrations in all localities of the island are organised but the most famous appointments are in Saint Cruz de Tenerife and Puerto de la Cruz at north.
Usually the program previews paraded of allegorical wagons, show of folkloristic dances, concerts of local and South American music; the tradition want the traditional raid by horseback, a prestigious competition among samba local schools with their dancers animating the City ways in company with masks and allegorical wagons.

Puerto de la Cruz Carnival is famous about "Fiesta de invierno; this event it's characterised by important appointments with shows, feasts and moments of very happy atmosphere that's very hard to be not involved.
